Bo-Ba-Bear
When we last heard from Bo-Ba-Bear, it could turn into a baby. Read on to discover more amazing abilities of Bo-Ba-Bear!
It can even turn into cookies and grapes.
It can’t turn into cookies. It can NEVER turn into cookies. It can’t...
It can…. It can’t!
(Sometimes, when it has 2000 gas, it can turn into a cookie. If it only has 100 gas, it can only turn into a waffle.)
It can turn into a FIRE truck! Do you know what it can turn into? Really good? A hose.
Do you know what it can turn into if it has 2000 100 gas? A boat!
It can’t turn into a diaper.
(Teacher: How does it get more gas?)
Ummmm, you can just go to a gas station and you can get more gas or something.
(Teacher: But how do you get the gas into it?)
Umm, we just go to a special place. Do you know what place it is? It’s kind of silly….
It’s a place we eat at. Do you know what it is? McDonalds!!
It can even turn into a baseball player.
A ball….It can turn into a ball.
Kindergarten Korner
At my house every night we light our advent wreath.
We made a prayer chain for every advent day.
Each night we take turns tearing one off and we say a special prayer for that person.
Advent means we are getting ready for Jesus’ Birthday.
I learned that from my mom and from my teacher Ms. Soliman too.
I’ve been very sad and so have my friends and my teacher.
First Alexis got sick and I miss her very much, then Amy’s daddy went up to heaven.
I made pictures to try to make them happy.
I love my friends so very much.
Merry Christmas from Stephanie Bravo.
Special Prayers for Alexis Lopez (Kindergartner)
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant Alexis,
For whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
That being restored to bodily health,
She may give thanks to You in Your Church..
Through Christ our Lord.
Please keep Alexis and her family in your thoughts and prayers as you give thanks this holiday.

IN THE SPIRIT OF GIVING DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON, AN INTERVIEW FEATURING CHARLENE BRAVO, GIVING TREE CHAIRPERSON.
By: Jessica Bravo (4th grade)
Q:What made you think of a Giving Tree?
A:I had the idea for a while but didn’t quite know how to approach it.
Five years ago when we were rebuilding the PTO I spoke with Mr. Huhnke
the President at that time and he said he had that very idea and was
going to announce it at the meeting. I told him I would chair it and
I truly believe that was God at work. We started the first year with
only about 100 names. Over the last 5 years we increased due to demand
of our parishioners and school families and how we as a Parish/School Family
help over 300 people. It is so Wonderful!
Q:Do you Feel like an elf, or angel with the Giving Tree?
A:I suppose more like an elf delivering gifts. The angels are the people who have purchased the gifts. I just obtain names of individuals who need help and I make sure the gifts get to their destinations. I really enjoy seeing the excitement that arises when I take the gifts in. The people are so very grateful and it brings tears of joy to know that so many people care enough to purchase all these items to brighten someone’s Christmas.
Q:Do you think that the Giving Tree Shows the Love of Jesus?
A:If we can touch lives in such a way that can make someone feel important at a tough time in their lives- what better way can they feel the love of Jesus than through the kindness of another human being?
*I have helped my Mom deliver presents to the Pregnancy Center, and it made me so happy to see how people help little, bitty babies. Last year, We went to the Guardian Angel home, and the ladies that worked there were so grateful, they were crying and hugging us so much. It made me happy to realize how much people help others.
*Editor’s note: When our family picks someone from the Giving tree, We call them our Angel. They serve as a reminder of the blessings WE have , but more importantly to live as Jesus did by giving to others. I am always humbled when I go to purchase a blanket, towels or other needed item for someone, and I also feel honored that I am able to help another human being, and I hope they know the joy it brings us. - Mrs. Kraus (and family)
