It is with deep sadness and indescribable heartache that we announce
St. Joseph School will not be open for the 2010/2011 school year.

The Diocese of Joliet has announced that St. Joseph School will close at the end of this year, June 4, 2010.

We ask you to keep our children,
their families, and our staff in your prayers during this
extremely painful time.
Thank you and God bless you.

Possible Reductions:

Service Hour Program: Each school family has the opportunity to earn $400 off their tuition by volunteering at different school and church sponsored events. Refer to the St. Joseph School Service Hour Plan below for more details.

Catholic Education Foundation: Apply for a $500 grant through the FACTS program. FACTS applications must be mailed before February 28, 2009.

The Nailer Tuition Assistance Fund: Need-based grants are avaliable from donations made to the St. Joseph School's Nailer Family Fund. Awards are based on the criteria listed on the State of Illinois free/reduced lunch application form.

Manna Gift Cards: Manna gift cards are for area grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and retailers. The school purchases these gift cards at a discount, usually 4-10% off face value. You purchase the gift cards at face value. Manna cards are simply gift certificate cards. The school receives half of the discount and you receive half the discount as tuition credit. How can I use Manna gift cards? Use them to purchase your weekly groceries, gas, and household items. They also make great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Its really that easy! Manna Gift Card List

Current school families earn a 10% tuition credit for each new family sponsored for enrollment during the 2009-2010 school year. The credit will be posted to the tuition account of the current school family at the end of the 2009-2010 school year. Both sponsoring and incoming families must be current with their tuition to receive this discount.

Each school family is required to sell $400 in fundraising throughout the school year (this brings in $200 profit for the school). Families who do not sell $400 throughout the school year will be billed for the balance of the expected amount of profit on the final tuition statment of the school year.
